I took these photos downtown in Ypsilanti. This was takin from the top half of a historical building. I chose to take these pictures because I loved the colors of the stone and the lighthouse design at the top. I am trying to convey the feeling of power. When I was taking this photo there was poor lighting outside so the photo does not give the architecture is full of justice but it still came out pretty good once I done some editing.

This Church is seen downtown in Ypsilanti. I chose to photograph this because I liked the color of the brick and thought the door looked fascinating. I am trying to convey an energetic feeling. I also wanted to provide a sense of rhythm and movement. When I took these photos I had to kneel down to certain angles to achieve the best look.

These are photos of the School of Business downtown Ypsilanti. I chose to take these photos because I am going to major in Business in college and thought it would be cool to find Eastern's school of business. I also liked the glass and exterior of the building. When I was taking the photos, the color in the glass was not showing up as much so I tried using flash and the photo actually came out better.

These are photos of fire station downtown Ypsilanti. I chose to take photos of it because I like the red doors and the iron designs over the windows. When I walked around the building I noticed there was vines growing all over and I thought this looked super cool so I also took pictures of the side of the fire station. I think these photos came out well and I enjoyed taking these the most out of all the locations I went to. I only spent some time deciding on how I would photograph the door because I did want to just take it straight on. I took it an angle to create a more dramatic and fun picture to look at.

These photos are of a train station downtown Ypsi. I chose to take these photos because I really liked the color of the building. It was like a rust red color and it drew my attention when I was driving around. I also like trains because they remind me of the polar express so I figured why not take a picture of a train station. The only issue I had with taking these photos was making sure to crop out the back ground because there were cars and people. I took the photo at and angle and stood about 50 feet away and I was able to focus and capture the train station.
