For these photos I chose to take them in the front of Skyline High School near a pond. I loved the way the weeds looks and the pond next to it so I took some photos of the scene. The feeling I am trying to convey is confidence. There are some thin plants with sharp needle tops that tower over the rest of the weeds and plants. These stand out to me and can represent embracing your differences and holding yourself high and building confidence. When I was taking these photos I had to retake the photos multiple time because when I tried to capture the water in it, the houses in the background would get it. I had to take the picture at angles and have the camera facing down to overcome this.

I took these photos in the forest at Skyline. I liked the leaves because they reminded me of fall even though it was freezing outside and there was snow. I decided to actually sit in the forest and have the camera low to the ground to take the pictures. I chose to take these pictures because the weeds reminded me of Texas. I am from San Antonio and my grandparents have a ranch there. These weeds reminded me of the weeds that grow at their ranch. The feelings that I am trying to convey are spirited and cheerful. When I was taking these pictures I noticed that there was a large tube/pipe that was running through the grass. After I started looking over the pictures I realized that part of the tube was in my pictures. I had to go back and retake some of the pictures but I still ended up having to crop some of the pictures.

For these photos I went by the Skyline Football Field and took photos of the forest across from it. I chose to take the photos here because I noticed that there was one tree with red-orange flowers growing off from it and I wanted to show the contrast between it and the rest of the trees. I also like how some of the trees had hints of red in the bark and though it created unity within the photos. I am trying to create the feeling of love and boldness. When taking the picture the true color of the flowers was not really showing so I had to adjust the lighting on my camera to overcome this.

I chose to take these pictures at the pond by Skyline. I liked the water and tried to take multiple different photos here. I took this photo from about 40 feet away from the water and also held the camera high up from the ground. I liked how this area looked a bit messy and natural. I am trying to convey feelings of liberation and embracing beauty in nature and authenticity. When I was taking these pictures they were coming out dull. I had to go and edit the highlights and shadows in the photos so they would not appear as mono-colored.

I took these pictures in the forest by Skyline. I liked how there was leaves on the ground because in many areas the environment looked plain and dead. But here, although the trees were bare for the most part, there were some pretty flowers. I was personally curious as to why only the few trees still had some flowers growing when the rest were without. I am trying to to convey feelings of strength and persistance, just as these flowers stay up and blooming in very cold winters. When I took these pictures I really liked how the orange contrasted with the green-grey trees and I think it adds character to the photo.
